✧ You are currently pregnant or breastfeeding
✧ You have a personal or family history of psychosis, schizophrenia, or bipolar I (without medical supervision)
✧ You have uncontrolled epilepsy or severe cardiovascular conditions
✧ You are taking medications that may interact (especially MAOIs, SSRIs/SNRIs, lithium, tramadol — consult a physician or trained Psychedelic-informed clinician or pharmacist)
✧ You are navigating acute trauma or crisis without therapeutic or emotional support
✧ You feel pressured by others to begin
MEDICATION CONSIDERATIONS
Some medications may interact negatively or diminish effectiveness. It is essential to consult with a psychedelic informed practitioner or psychedelic informed pharmacist before continuing.
Red flags include:
✧ Lithium — high risk for adverse reactions
✧ Tramadol — risk of serotonin syndrome
✧ Some SSRIs/SNRIs — may reduce effects or create instability
✧ MAOIs — may potentiate effects unpredictably
LEGAL AWARENESS
Psilocybin remains regulated or illegal in many regions. You are responsible for understanding the laws in your country, state, or locality.
